Is there anyway to save the OOB of say a regiment for use in different scenarios without having to enter said organization over again from scratch? Or say if you want to add a division you could simply say the division contains three of the above regiments?

Building a scenario OOB from squads/vehicles seems rather tedious....

With the Force Editor open, choose the following menu option:

File >>> Save Unit As...

This will save the unit that is actively being edited as a template. Give it a general name like "Ger 44 Inf Reg" and save it into a subfolder within your Scenarios folder. Then, when you want to use that unit to flesh out your scenario's OOB, just choose the menu option of

File >>> Open Unit

...and then navigate to your subfolder, choose the unit, and it will insert into your active side's force. Name the unit, and you're done. You still have to set up your formations, and fine tune proficiencies, et cetera, but the grunt work of creating new units is taken care of.
