I just installed MaxFB and went to quickstart to get a look at the game. When I got to kickoff it looked as though it was a night game without any lights on. I tried various settings from high detail all the way to low as well as various settings for day/night weather, etc. But no matter what I did the screen was very dark. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

I noticed this myself, in night games. The field is lit well, but the stadium is fairly dark

ditto - it's like the stadium is in the dark, but the field is fine.

Here is my DXDiag if it helps.

hi.

Screenshots are taken by pressing F12

I took a look at your diagnostic file. Several components of your system are below the requirements for the game. I think your video card will be very problematic. You've got plenty of memory there though.

I was afraid I might have video card issues.   The strange thing is the game seems to run very smoothly - only it is dark whether I select day or night.   I tried hitting F12 to get a screenshot, but I can't seem to find the file.   (I don't know what directory it would be in or the filename)    Sorry for all the noob questions.......

Thanks for the help.   I turned the shadow setting down to basic and it's working just fine now.

For me, it was never really terrible. But it is fine now after I used driver cleaner and re-installed my video card drivers.

Some stadiums have sections to it that are just a little darker than others, but I see that this is normal from the screenshots above.

Screenshots are saved as BMP files. Look for a folder named 'ScreenShots' in your Maximum-Football folder. You may need to resize them so you can post them here.
