Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but why is the
Montpelier in as Atlanta class and in game by Dec 41, I thought she
was Cleveland class and was Commed Sept 42. If this was done on purpose sorry if
I am sticking my nose in.

Are you using the stock scenario set? If so there are a number of database errors, I think that you found one of them.

There are quite literally thousands of ships - and NO version of the database is - or even can be - error free. The more effort put into a particular scenario, and the more attention to eratta given, the better it will/can be. But information theory says that any large data set will contain errors. And the original one was done on a limited budget = limited time basis. That is why it is so wonderful Matrix gave us the editors - so we can perfect the data set.

USS Montpelier (CL 57) was indeed a Cleveland-class "light" cruiser. (Heavy cruiser size and armor but six-inch main guns.) She was in the Battle of Empress Augusta Bay, where she and her sister ships swapped salvoes with two IJN heavy cruisers. An Atlanta class CLAA wouldn't have done well in that fight.

Well - if it is in RHS - than it is quite proper to point it out - as RHS corrects eratta almost real time - and cannot do so UNLESS someone 'pokes their nose in.' RHS is an OPEN group - see the designer credit in the Scenario Editor (the "author" is "The Matrix Forum RHS Team"). See the RHS Manual: anyone who wants to contribute is a member of the team - they decide. If you want to fix something in RHS - certainly when talking about errors - it will always be used/approved. [If you think "supply sinks" need "fixing" in the sense of being eliminated, that would be different: it violates the heart of RHS design concept/definitions. But even there, if you just have a better way, rather than a blanket "take it out" 'fix' - we would look at it.] We just redid aircraft ROC - long after we had planes working quite well - because someone thought they were not consistent - and he had material that could address that. A LOT of work too - but we delayed and did it.

The problem with your suggestion is - you gave no slot numbers. IF you can find the ship - and identify its slot - it makes fixing a whole lot faster.

OK - this ship is a problem because we moved ALL Cleveland class to a different slot to prevent respawnning - and somehow it is pointing at the wrong class. It is in slot 3321. She also is appearing on the wrong date - before the Cleveland class is available. Should be 430110 at location 300 in Levels 5 and 6, 430105 at Location 562 in Level 7. Should point at class slot 1383.
