Would it be possible to see how much of your turn will at least be consumed before you click end turn / resolve attacks?

..yes, as you click on a unit to attack, look at the stars on the middle right of your screen, the dark ones show how much turn they will consume..

..for more detail, move the cursor to the lower middle screen and you'l be given exactly how much turn the current attack will take..

..oh and it's likelyhood of success but ignore that, what does a damn computer know...

It's possible to see when your attacks will begin, by the circlet of stars in the bolted panel, as well as the display in the information bar on the bottom. However, it's not possible to know ahead of time how long any battle will last, because that is dependent upon the results of the battle, and a host of variables that are not known to the player - nor should be.
