Only a small optional idea:
When I use the Vassal version of the game I do a random selection of the pilots. I still respect the number of pilots in each skill category, but I pick them randomly.

This could something we could do pretty easily. Anyone else think this would be a good feature?

I'd rather have randomly generated pilots altogether. And then the ability to assign them my own "pet names". Or random skill upgrades for veterans.

But yeah, if its easy, at least it would be a nice option to change-up gameplay. Then I wouldn't necessarily pick the same pilots each time around. Definitely would have to be optional I'd say. A "random roll" button.

Some kind of randomization on the pilots would be nice.

Yup.. agreed. Fully randomized pilot stat rolls would be good - but for now if its not too much work, random pilot selection would be nice.

As the others have said, the more randomness allowed, the better, so I'm all for starting with a small bit of randomness, especially if it's an optional thing.

Oh yes, random pilot selection would be totally optional (a separate button on the screen).
