I just completed the third complete season of my association. I manage game by game and counting the playoffs I have now manged over 500 games!

At this point it is so cool to see my association develope its own history. I find myself following players on other teams. It is hard to explain but after managing so many games it feels like my team has a personality. As crazy as it sounds I have even traded or let players go because they never seemed to "fit" in with the rest of my club.

I never thought a game would overtake Civilization in the amount of time I spent playing it but I think PureSim is well on its way.

Congradulations on your feat. I am impressed as that does take a lot of time and determination. If only I could develope such determination.

It took me about two years. I bought the game in fall of 2005 and started my association. I play a lot of games right at the start of spring training, during the start of the season, and then right around playoff time.

I only play this association now. I used to love to do season replays but after I started a fictional association I never looked back.

WOW!

500 games at an average of 15-20 mins per game is close to 170 hours of just managing games, not to mention the other non-managing tasks!

Congrats. Its safe to say you are getting your money's worth (assuming you bought the last two versions)
