Would there be any way to fix this issue of duplicate legendary units? This kinda thing drives me crazy and it can take me up to 10 first turn restarts as CSA to avoid having duplicate LUs when I want to start a new game.

Certain units like Pelican Rifles seem to duplicate more often than others.

Am starting a new game as CSA with the new beta patch and it just reminded me how annoying game startup can be.

I know I can use the NO LUs at startup option to only start with those LUs written into the scenario, but Im not sure if the bug with no produced LUs is fixed yet (didnt see it in the patch notes) so I dont want to use that option if it isnt.

This is a matter for Eric, but I'm wondering: do duplicates only appear during the first turn, or anytime? (I assume it's the latter, but it would be helpful to know.)

Just at startup. What seems to happen is that any LU written into the scenario file has a random chance of popping up somewhere else as well. Pelican Rifles seems to be the most common for CSA, but any unit can be duplicated. I think once it pops up again the game knows its put the unit into play so it doesnt deploy a LU in triplicate. It would just be nice if the game would "know" the a unit was already out because of being written into the scenario.

This isnt really a beta patch related issue it happens at startup in every version AFAIK when you have starting LUs enabled.

Is there a listing of all the Legendary Units appearing in the game? Was thinking about doing some research and offering other LU's for addition to the game. Thanks.

The file: acwspecunits.txt in the data folder has a complete list.

That would be great. I did that entire file and our plan all along was that once the game was out I'd add another 50 or so more, but work on the bios has prevented me from getting back to these. If you'd like to add some, that would definitely be welcome. (Same goes for anyone else, of course.)

I have a list of the ones I'd like to add, but am certainly open to suggestions. We should discuss this privately, though.
