Not sure if inf can ride on tanks. They can on halftracks. Halftracks also give u 1000 landcap and have a good recon value. They can also take more damage than trucks.

Tanks have a Carry capacity of 5 and it appears they can carry troops. I've had 20 infantry, 1 halftrack and 2 mortars in a unit and still been 'tracked' as movement type.

Giving your tanks a some infantry up to there carry weight is a must imo. Just be sure not to exceed the carry limit so you dont hamper your movement speed.

yes. but each unit have a weight and each unit have a carry weight.

Normal rifle and SMG and Scouts weight 1. So a tank that have 5 carry weight can carry 5 of those.

Im not sure how much staff weight. But i guess its also 1.
Otherwise then that all infantry can get a ride from stuff with carry weight be it morters, machine gun, bazooka etc.
I even think you can tow infantry and AT guns with a pure tank only unit.

I'm thinking most people already know this, but on the production screen right next to the select button (for unit type) is a '?' button. Click this button to see both the weight and carry values (along with most other relevant statistics). All of this information is readily available within these information screens.
