Status: offline 		I have an opponent that sent me a pbem turn. I down loaded it to my save folder, started the game and loaded the turn. It asks me for a password, which I assume that I choose. I enter the pass word and click the 'x' but that is as far as I get???

Status: offline 		I select PBEM, I select my game pablovsfrank, it asks me for a password, I input (this is the first turn) and hit enter and it takes me back to saved game screen. No chance to hit the 'spacebar" Is it a vista problem?

Status: offline 		You cannot load a PBEM game that was saved on the same computer. It will only load if the serial number is different.

Status: offline 		I try PBEM with Montecuccoli for the test and that's work. Just do not rout on first turn, and be carrefull the game will be very long ... But PBEM works for us

Status: offline 		I have the same problem. It did not work. I see nothing in the game manual about that.
I try to open the file the other gamer send me , I put a password then I click on the X and nothing happen . I also try with ENTER , nada. So, how did it work ?

I think the game have some bug in the check of the machines all the home machines have the same ip address

Status: offline 		It does work, it has been tested. You must be doing something wrong. We will check nevertheless.

Are you absolutely certain that both of you have a different serial number? PBEM will not work with the same serial.

Is our CI very low because we bought this game?

The developer is re-checking PBEM. In the meantime, please keep giving us detailed reports if you have an issue.

No, we did not sell you the same serial number we sold to others. Bulcsu was just asking because if the serial number is the same, the game won't recognize it as a different installation and allow PBEM. It's clear you guys have different serial numbers, so that can't be the issue.

I'm going to try a test PBEM game here today too and see if it still works for me.

Status: offline 		Ok, we did a PBEM test here with the latest public beta version (v1.05) and it seemed to work fine.

If any of you who are having problems getting PBEM to work could start a new game and send us a test PBEM Turn 1, we'll give it a try here and see if it works. Just mail them to erikr@matrixgames.com.

I still cannot open any PBEM game but Matrix said
Ah, sorry about that the Subject line I received said Napoleon in Russia so I was looking at a different game.

I was able to load the saved games and after it came up with the prompt "Press SPACE to replay your opponents moves" I hit space bar for each move he did and was able cycle though all of his moves/battles. You will need to do this for each of your opponent's turns and he will have to do the same for the turns you send him.

I hope this helps. Let me know if this works for you or if you continue to have issues.

Status: offline 		1.05 has no changes to the PBEM system. It DOES work with 2 copies that have different serial numbers.

The problem is when I try to play with Frank Davoust or Mario Vallée
I cannot open their files and they cannot open my files
Different version of the game?
Can some one fixed this issue.
After the input of the password the game come back to the new campaign selection, I never can hit space o something
I test the issue in 3 differents computers one desktop with vista, one portatil with xp, one desktop with XP,
always I have the same error.
