Hi everyone,

A new version of The v1.02 Update is now available as a Public Beta via our Members Club. While we do final testing we figured we'd offer you a change to get it early as well. This is still a beta, but it's stable and solid as far as we can tell. Barring any major issues being found, this one will become the official update.

You can download this as a Registered Download as long as you have registered your Advanced Tactics serial number in our Members Club (click on the MEMBERS link in the top nav bar).

Here's the change list:
• Transfer all button now only shows if units are on the same hex.

• Fixed editor bug if you delete something that is currently selected as pencil.

• Fixed bug where AI hang while trying to find closest unit

• 4 chains of hq works properly now.

• Fixed a bug where you got an exception if you while in production mode then selected a hex without a town and went into the subformation info screen.

• Fixed bug with AI air routine

• Let the events that add hex to a regime also will set some recon on that hex.

• Transferring supplies to naval units in harbor should now be possible.

• Smallest action card font is to small - Fixed

• Bazooka now on all levels has an entrench value of 40.

• Flak now on all levels versus infantry is 20/20 attack

• Heavy tank is now 48 supply carry and store for all levels

• Attack of level bomber versus infantry is now 20 on all levels

• Scouts level III and IV now only excerpt anti-supply points on land.

• All staff levels are now rear area sfs.

• All staff levels now cost 100 prod points to produce

• Submarine Level 4 now has 60% evade chance.

• Fixed editor bug with adding a new sprite to a LT

• Fixed an issue with random games where start town is on island not next to sea. This should not happen anymore.

• Strange overlay behaviour with hexmap should be solved (see designer forum with Fortress Europe map)

1.  Is this "new" version of patch 1.02 Beta the one that fixes the Bug reports discussed over in this thread?:

2. And just to be sure, we simply download the patch, unzip the executable into our Main AT folder, and then Run the Install right over the previous one? No need to Un-Install anything?

3. And just to be sure, as usual with Vic's AT patches so far, we can play current PBEM games that were started under 1.02 "old" or 1.01?

4. Last, when 1.01 Beta Patch was released, I  believe Vic confirmed that you could play opponents running older versions: true?

Yes version v1.02b is fully compatible with all previous versions and it should solve the movement bug reported with 1.02.

I just logged in Menber area, but I cant find the patch. Last patch in the list is for Guns of August! Where I can find 1.02 patch???

Did you register your game? If so click on "My Games" once you are logged into the members area.
Next to Advanced Tatics should be "Private downloads" click this. Then download.

Do I need previous patches also? or does this 1.02b contain all previous?

The game runs so good out o the box I hate to play with patches at all :)

v1.02b contains all previous patches. and is fully compatible with earlier versions.

The official patch should be out next week. 1.02b should be up there under Registered Downloads in the Members Club.

Yeah, it's just labeled wrong. when you install the patch there's a 1.02b on the screen...

Just to let you know in case you're trying to download the patch but cannot: Peerguardian blocks the matrixgames ftp transaction (since obviously, matrixgames sort of looks at your packet or something like that). Disabling Peerguardian makes it work. Just thought I'd spare some people the trouble of testing around.
