I am having a problem with items I download. The .pt2 items work great. The problem has to do with .zip files. They appear to download and unzip just fine. When I go to use the files I get error messages that the program cannot find the special graphics and event files. Looking at the message the program is searching in the wrong place. All of the location lines it is searching for has /'s in place of some of the \'s or even in addition to the \'s. I'm perplexed.

mmm... what i think is the case that your zip unpacker does not unpack the subdirectories in the zipfile correctly.

what zip programm are you using for unzipping?

does it have an option to keep subdirectories and stuff intact?

if you unzip a zip inside the bin directory does it place the .pt2 file in the scenarios directory or in the bin directory itself?

kind regards,
vic

The program I'm using is the integrated Unzip Wizard in Microsoft Windows. It does not give me any options for how to unzip.

However, when looking at the directory names I realized that the Wizard was creating a new folder in the bin instead of just unzipping the files. I went back and started over, deleted the extra tag on the target directory to unzip and now it works.

Thanks for your help. This is a great game.
