Playing the stock Pearl Harbor scenario (as the US) numerous times, I noticed that the Japanese AI could never achieve anywhere near the historical results. Their bombers rarely hit their targets, despite the US ships being stationary, and even the Kates that can carry torpedoes almost never do, they carry bombs instead, which do far less damage to a battleship.

Also the historical strike on the airfields destroying nearly all the fighters does not happen in CAW.

So I decided to mod the scenario to produce a more historical results.

Changes:
1. Japanese have more Ace pilots (the bomber pilots are all Aces.)
2. Lowered pilot level for US fighter squadrons (nearly all pilots are Green.)
3. All US battleships start the scenario with some damage (to compensate for the Japanese AI not using torpedoes.)
4. US ships have very poor damage control (due to confusion in surprise attack) and are highly flammable as well.

Now the Japanese AI can achieve much better results, often sinking all 5 of the battleships that were sunk historically (Arizona, Oklahoma, Nevada, California and West Virginia.)

You may be able to post it on the SSG website as they have user created scenarios posted from their other games.
