I know this is a 1024x768 game but using it on my widescreen monitor (1650x1050) regardless of setting I lose some of the screen on all sides for example in the top left hand corner the main menu button is just "off screen" although you can still press if you move the cursor off screen in that corner.

Also I was having problems with the movie (I'm running Vist) but these dissapeared by using the compatability tab and using XP compatability and ticking "disable visual themes" and "disable desktop composition".

Any thoghts on the first issue much appreciated.

Hi Simmy,

Note that the game actually switches to 1024x768 exclusive mode when it runs, so if you haven't previously adjusted your display for that mode, you may need to do so to get the image to look the way you want it. Monitors generally save settings for each different display mode, so changes while EIA is up should not affect your default settings.

Regards,

- Erik

Erik,

just put me down as having fluff for brains, it's been such a long time since I have ever had to do any "manual adjustment" on a monitor that solution had just totally passed me by! I'll have a go now.

It sets me to 1024x768 mode and leaves it that way once the game exits.  If I had realized this, I would have seriously reconsidered purchasing it.

It should restore your setting when you exit the game. Are you not seeing this?

It did not restore.  I will try again.

Note: Do not alt-f4 out of the game, the resolution does not reset.
