Believe me, it is a date I don't want to forget. But having an interest in the Pacific war makes remembering it a bit easier.

Congrats. I bet the wedding as a blast.

Took a friend out for his birthday last night (the 5th). He made a point of telling everyone that not only was it his birthday, but also was the anniversary of the repeal of prohibition in the US. He's good at story telling, so it was rather entertaining too. It did manage to get him two free beers, a slab of prime rib that hung over the end of the plate, and a huge dessert on the house.

Eeek, I just remembered that Monday was the 9th anniversary of our first "date". My SO usually makes some deal about it, but I think she forgot about it too. She had laser surgery on Tuesday and has been ultra busy with work lately, so I don't think she noticed the date. Oh well, good thing I promised to make dinner tonight...
