I would have made a movie for you all, but Paint wont edit the TOAW pictures.

Ok, the second problem is fixed. The problem was probably caused by my attempt to send a 300 Meg zip file to myself in a different Email prior to sending the turn.

Yeah, it failed after I tried to edit it after realizing Turn 43 was in the beginning and end.

I'll do a full montage after we hit turn 60.

It works if you use the link, it seems.

Ok, I have launched Operation Absquatulation in his eastern flank.

I hope to draw away men from his White Front.

Operation Absquatulation continues as an enemy cavalry division is destroyed and an infantry division surrounded, although appalling losses of engineers have been reported.

No, I didn't a pity too, I could have easily defended that flank had I noticed, I was concentrating on my own men around white.

For many turns I sat still, luring desert into a sense of false security, then like lightning from the blue sky I struck...

I landed paratroopers behind his main lines on the left, and made a naval invasion cutting off his only railroad link. Also a began a strong frontal assault on his lines that seems to be going well.

Right now I think I can push through desert's main line on the left, cutting his forces there and in the middle off. From there I can either try to destroy his main army piecemeal or I can just contain his forward armies and launch an attack into his now defenseless homeland.

I will post some screenshots once some combat operations are complete.

I say that's BS! My lines are intact, and your entire Air Corp is reduced to a starving brigade! You also fail to mention the second theater of operations...

Attacking me will leave your lands unguarded too...

Well I said I could push through your lines, implying they were still intact, but weak.

As it stands your tank divisions in the contested area muster a strength of something like 6, after I was able to evaporate 2 or 3 this turn. My tank divisions have a strength of 86.

Your artillery has a stength of 56 after I pounded a few units.
My artillery has stength of something like 205

I consider tanks and artillery to be the best measure of attacking strength and I have superiority in both. It also seems I have air superiority over the region in question, though that could change.

As for the other side of the map you haven't done anything over there for a while and my forces there are strong defensively, so I didn't consider it important.

I actually have more fighters.

Also, you really depleted my large stock of on-hand tanks.

Well you might have more fighters, though I don't know about that, but I said I had air superiority over the region, which is true, unless you shift some of your planes around.

My grand offensive has crushed Desert's defenses in the north eastern flank. Now I am poised to strike into the rear of his other armies. I have also sent a force behind his lines to cut off his line of retreat towards his homeland.

I have destroyed a big portion of his artillery and much of the remainder is now hopelessly trapped.

Similarly I have destroyed many of his tanks, and his few remaining tank units are in danger of being cut off.

I have offered him these terms:

SURRENDER!

I have tanks on the other front too...Defeat on that front means I have to increase the pressure on another front.

Really good AAR.  Had always thought that this scenario would make an excellent PBM match.

Hey, Desert, I have atried-and-true way of converting very large jpeg files into much smaller ones. It requires a bit of time, but it works.... Here are the steps:

1). Open PowerPoint, and make several blank slides (make them the all-blank, without the lines or anything in them).
2). Take the Bitmap image that you can make of the map, and convert it to a JPEG file
3). copy each JPEG file one at a time (right-click and copy), and place them each onto one of the blank PowerPoint slides (you'll have to resize them to fit the slides)
4). One you're done, save each file individually so you can rename it as you go along (otherwise "saving all" may put them out of order)
5). Put your show together.

That said, how do I put all of my slides together to make them run through the turns?

Glad you guys are having fun with it. I'm the designer of the scenario. Would like to get a game going as red if anyone is interested in playing blue.
