I have a 24" Wide Screen display that looks gorgeous in 1920x1200, and PureSim just looks so tiny in it's fixed 1024x768 size :(

That said, I know many folks have monitors that can't do much more than 1024x768... So, I am looking into taking advantage of the screen real estate (allowing user to resize in windowed mode) but I'm not sure how many folks would be able to take advantage of it.

In addition, it is a HUGE undertaking, so I am treading carefully.

I'm interested in any feedback you may have. Do you run PureSim in a window? Is your windows desktop rez greater than 1024x768? Are you running a wide screen display?

Shaun,

At Work: A 17" flat screen at 1280x1024 resolution, I play Puresim windowed.

At Home - Desktop: A 21" widescreen at 1280x768 resolution, I play full screen and it looks funny, but it's my only choice= windowed cuts off most of the lower buttons and other important details at the bottom edge.

At Home - Laptop: A 15.4" widescreen at 1280x800, I play Puresim windowed. I need to move it about 1/2" down so that it all fits, but it all does and it looks great.

Im running a resolution of 1440 x 900 on a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 931bw widescreen monitor, and I play in windowed mode. I can play full screen and its managable, but everything looks a little squished and its not all that clear, but you can read the words and stuff.

I still use an older monitor with 1024*768 resolution. Eventually, I will upgrade to a widescreen monitor, so higher resolution options for future editions should definitely be given consideration.

Eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I might have to have a 36" screen. I have a 19" screen now and not wide screen, so I don't know how it would effect me.

Running 1680x1050 windowed, and more resolutions would be a godsend.

I am stuck with 1024*768 , but as long as I can still play, I'm fine with supporting the higher resolutions.

This qualifies as what I would call a high-class problem.  A testament to where PS is as a playable game.
