ORIGINAL: trw2264 Perhaps there has been a post about phase automation, but I have been looking through the posts and I have not found one, so please pardon if somebody has already done this. In later enhancements it might be a nice feature to be able to set a phase bypass. An example would be for a PBEM game the Prussian player sets a phase bypass to skip Prussia for the naval phase (and yes I know it is possible for Prussia to have a naval phase via a controlled minor or by actually buying a ship). I.E. at the begining of each players diplo phase an optional menu can be used for a nation to bypass any phase, assuming that that nation did not receive control of an minors. This could help in progressing a PBEM game quicker. Another example would be Russia that is in the winter months and her fleets are frozen and Russia is not looking to control any minors and no reinforcements are ordered up that particular month, then Russia could use a phase bypass for the rienforcement and naval phases. There could be an automatic stoppage for a nation to proceed with a phase bypass if a major power DOW's on that nation that has set a bypass. Another example could be a nation that is at peace and has its corps in prime foraging areas could even bypass its land phase. Thanks, Thomas Thomas, In the Admin Menu screen, have the host use the “skip” button when a player requests it. When used, the host sends the file that is generated to ALL players (including the player who had his turn skipped). Btw, when the host uses the Admin menu to generate a player’s turn (using the AI or skip buttons), the program knows the difference between a host generated file and a player generated file and will allow the player (who’s turn was played by the host) to load that turn file. In any other case, the player cannot load his own turn file. Richard
