Manuals Included In Physical Game?

Hi,

I am considering ordering some games that are on sale until the 7th, and would like to know if there is a manual included in the physical shipment. I was told by the ordering department that a Quick Start came in some of the games, but I am interested in knowing if a complete manual is included (they werent sure). The games are:

Battlefront
Battles In Italy
Battles In Normandy
Flashpoint Germany
Gary Grigsbys A World Divided
Panzer Command - Winter Storm
Puresim Baseball 2007
Steel Panthers World At War
Operational Art Of War 3
War In The Pacific
War Plan Orange
Reach For The Stars (not on sale but still interested).

Ok, upon further reading on this site, I found in the General Discussions forum a post that Game On Demand orders would include a paper manual. On the order pages it does not list a Game On Demand option, is that the same as Physical Shipment?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think any of those games come with a printed manual yet.

I don't recall a thread where the phrase "Game on Demend" was used...can you provide a link so I can see it in context?

Games released AFTER (and including) Forge of Freedom have a printed manual and none of the games you list were released after Forge of Freedom. AFAIK there have only been a couple of games previous to Forge of Freedom where the physical copy has been updated with a manual, but alas with my memory problem as bad as it is, their names escape me...sorry

As the Judge says games released on and after Forge of Freedom all came with a full-colour printed manual

From your list of games and AFAIK this means only "Battlefront" qualifies

I read about the Game On Demand in the following link:

It also mentions that older games would have a manual available, but not sure how I would be able to tell on the website.

To make a long story short:

We did not have printed manuals in any of our games until the Forge of Freedom release in December, 2006. All new releases after Forge of Freedom include printed manuals. We also updated some, but not all, older titles with printed manuals. If a game has a printed manual, you will get it when you order the "physical" or "physical+digital" option. I recommend the latter, as it lets you download and play right away while your boxed copy is shipped - at no extra cost beyond the shipping.

I've edited in above which are printed and which are PDF per your list.

We are in the progress of adding this data (printed or PDF manual and # of pages) to our store and game pages, along with resolution info, that's one of our upgrades planned for January/February.

Thank you for that information on which games have manuals available. Now I know which ones to order as both Physical and Digital download and which ones I will just get the digital.
