I'm playing the Great War scenario PBEM and have come across an oddity (might be the game, the scenario or me)

Problem is that I can't conduct shore bombardment with western fleets, while I have no problems doing it with Russia's. Is this a setting in the scenario, a bug, or am I just plain stupid?

I have the 1.10 beta patch installed.

As far as i remember Tom said that he completely removed shore bombardment in that scenario cause it was not used that
much in ww1.
If the russians still can do something is wrong. Tweber can tell you.

Ok, that could be an explanation although I don't find any info on this in the scenario settings. If shore bombardment should be disabled I want to apologize to my PBEM counterpart for unknowingly exploiting this bug.

Just searched for and found a changes list of a earlier version of "Great War"
Tom mailed me in October.

Updated scenario based on current games.  Key changes include: - Added some engineers to both sides- Gave bridges 5000 structural points so they are hard to destroy- Gave cities 500 autorepair points so they recover quickly- Gave Germany a bit of a boost - Staff starts at level 3, 50% experience.  They also get a large initial supply stockpile.  However, infantry, mgs, and artillery still level 2.- Raised price of early tanks to 1500 (50% premium over armored cars)- Removed naval shore bombardment (to make more in-line with WWI combat).  Since ships are less important, I also reduced their supply cost.
