Hey guys, I started up as Turkey last night. I placed the Albanian Feudal Corps in the 2 space close to Georgia/Imertia. Didn't move it, but when I rolled for attrition it read:

space (? or something like that) 2 mod -1 and then of course it rolled a 6, having me lose 4 or 5 guys.

Shouldn't it be:

space 2: mod -3 or -4: then dr?

-3 for remaining movement points
-1 for friendly?
which would make attrition N/A, right?

It only did this with the Albanians. All of the other ones seemed to get the "remaining movement points" memo and modifier.

Thanks,
Jason

Your logic looks good to me. Perhaps a +1 for winter. I have experienced similar issues.

Oooh. I forgot winter. Yes, add back a +1 then. And I just wanted to check that "friendly" includes any FS or conq country, as well as home nation and ceded provinces, right? What about allied territory?

It's +2 for winter. So that combined with your -3 for not moving gives you the -1.

The game doesn't count it as friendly territory. Only your home nation and conquered territory (including ceded provinces) counts. Not free states. (I don't know why, exactly, but seems to be the way it is.)

Likewise, your free state corps don't get the friendly bonus in your territory (or that of your other free states); only in their own territory.

free states are not concidered "friendly" for foraging purpose, winter is +2 on foraging so if the corp hasnt moved it should be 2 -3 +2 = 2 -1 so the program is correct, a roll of 6 would make you lose 3 factors.

Controlled free states should be considered friendly I think?
