Hey guys.

Ok, so I started with Turkey last night. I had a couple of thoughts on some issues:

-How does one get rid of the last guy in a corps? I couldn't place a Tu infantry in Syria. Fine, but then when I placed the Nizam Cedid corps in Palestine, with the thought to move it over and drop off the single infantry unit into Damascus, I couldn't.

-Is there / can there be some method of turning off the message about not sieging with forage that comes up EVERY TIME?

-It was odd, in setup or reinf, you place a unit then have to re-click on it to fill it with units.

-In movement when you are finished with a unit, what do you click on to move to the next unit. I have found that depots work. However, I usually just try to click on another unit, but then get the message that the unit can't march that far... What do you do?

-It's hard to read that small text field with notes on dip, actions, etc. So, I tried cntl-c. No dice. I highlighted the whole section and right clicked. It copied, but it copies the whole field, not a highlighted portion. This is fine in the beginning, but will be a pain in the butt later on (say 1808 or thereafter). After a couple of months it was 11 pages in length.

-This one is related to the AI, but there were an AMAZING number of dows in the past few nights (playing as TU). Phenomonal. Not only that, but guys DoWing who didn't want to or couldn't engage me for a long time. In one game RU DoWed me and then didn't even move my direction. In another game as TU (same exact RU setup in both games), SP, GB, AU all DoWed me on turn one. By turn 4 or so they had not even moved my direction.

This goes back to my statements earlier that we need to work on random setups and (adding on) potentially less (stupidly) aggressive AI in PPs.

Still like the game and am looking forward to playing it more. Hope this helps.

Jason

you can only transfer and remove corps during reinforcement phase...

try right clicking anywhere on the map to lose focus if thats what u want

sometimes it would be really handy if you could destroy ur inf factors, its sometimes annoying with corps but even more so when ur stuck with a garrissoned depot you desperatly need somewhere else...

To kill garrisons (including depot garrisons), click the remove counter button during the reinforcement phase. I agree that it would be handy to be able to remove a garrisoned depot during the land phase.
