Guys ....

Am still having trouble with Matrix CS up-dates 1:02 and 1:02b ..

Have installed 1:02 (the big one) OK ... and game appears to play fine with minor glitiches ... but every time I load update 1:02b it all goes to pot.

Cannot move any units in any game and have major problems with Division oob in West Front ..

Have followed instructions to the letter ....

I have been downloading the up-dates at work - saving them to USB flash and then adding them to CS series ..... could this be problem .. ?

I known I've asked before, but doe anyone have any idea why I can't get them work properly with game .. ?

Using the UPDATE button on the install is the best way to ensure you have UP TO 1.02 installed.

The 1.02B is tricky and has to be followed precisely, otherwise it will bugger up.

All I can suggest is make sure you are copying and pasting the right files to the right files.

There is still an oob error for the Americans in West Front, but this is taken care of in 1.03.

Hopefully with the coming release of the 1.03 UPDATE, this will no longer be an issue.

Jason ...

Many thanks for prompt reply ...

Could you OK, or not OK what I've been doing ...

I have been loading the 1:02 update from a zip file dirctly into CS .... (I don't have internet on my home computer, so have been downloading at office on USB and putting zip file on home computer) .

Can I upload the file by hitting update button in game from a file on my computer rather than going on-line ..?

With the 1:02b update have been cutting an pasting files into CS's respective files - EF, WF and then RS ...

Should I be directly extracting them from Zip into files, or is opening and then cutting and pasting the only  viable option ..?

Sorry to bother you with this again, but have been unable to use CS Matrix since I got it two months ago because of this problem...

Could the disk I purchased be flawed ... ? Because the same "division 00b" problem flashes up everytime I download update 1:02b ..?

Hello All:

Jason I got the game today. Thanks to you and others for answering my questions beforehand.

When I used the UPDATE button on the install it looks like it is grabbing a 1.01 exe file. Just thought it would be names 1.02... Any thoughts?

Minor thing: says hotkeys at back of manual and I cannot find them there. Sure they are available somewhere.

Thanks,

Gerry

Hi Gavin

If you are manually downloading the 1.02 update, you will have to unzip that file and then double click on that 1.02 EXE in order to run the update.

When that is done, you can copy and paste the 1.02B files over.

That should get you working.

I noticed this as well, it installs 1.01, then 1.02 and then appears to repeat the process for some reason. So keep your serial number handy for copying and pasting!

Hopefully this can be corrected with the 1.03 update, it should be cummulative, I am unsure why it is not.

No worries Gavin, it happens to many people.

It happens with me, as well, due to my frequent installs/reinstalls for BETA testing; forgetting a patch or update or two.

Jason,

I don't have my game with me right now, but I recall that 'V' is the hotkey for Visible hexes. Am I remembering correctly?
