Whats the best purpose for those minors? When conquering them i will get their money and manpower when making them a free state their MP and money is doubled and i can buy units for them. But why ally them?
In my current game as austria i influenced Bavaria to become my ally and the converted automatically to free state status. In the further progress of the game i influenced a couple of other german minors to become my ally. Is there also a chance that they will become free state status? What shall i do with these allies? It´s great to have friends but i dont see the point to have them allied to me.

Hello,

If someone declare war to you, they will automaticlly join you as free stats.
As a minor is your allies you will have to declare war to any majors who declare war to your allies, otherwise you loose 2 pp for breaking alliance.
When a minor become freestat you win 1 pp.

In fact it a way to have influence far away from your army. It's also a way for winning 1 PP.

Julien.

Yes. Also if someone declares war on them you automatically control them, even at the influenced level.

No. this rule only applies to major allies. If YOU declare war on one of your minor allies you lose 1pp or if one of your major nation allies declares war on an allied minor then BOTH major nations lose 2pp because it breaks the major powers' alliance.

Sure but usually the best allies are those that serve as buffer states on your borders.

Do not know what you mean, they become free states if war is declared on them or you. It is best to leave them as such since they will produce more for their defense faster.

Only conquered with corps can be made into free states by you. You can get a free state without a corp through lapse of war but once it becomes a conquered it will only go free state as part of a Kingdom if it is eligible.

Force marching is done by moving the unit, then clicking on it and it will ask you if you want to force march it. Say yes and you get the extra move point.

Yep doubleclick was the miracle...but how to know if nowhere mentioned.

Can anybody explain me whats the purpose for the "Empires In Arms PBEM Game Assistance Program". Is it necessary to play via Pbem?

Moving in the same land phase as your allies is not implemted so far isnt it?

...and finally i want to know if invasion supply is bugged as i could not creade a depot on my ship when landing in tripoli...though i had one depot in egypt and my fleet sitting there...toying arround with turkey btw.

GAP is used to:
- place the bids,
- resolve the bids and assign the nations
- create a file that the host can import into EiA to start a new PBEM game
You can start a PBEM without GAP, but it's a lot easier to use it.

No, the only way to move in the same land phase is by loaning corps to the allies

Generally speaking, it works. But it's possible to encounter some problem in specific circumstances related to bugged areas / unit disposition and such.

It's in the manual. I don't have the page right now, but that's where I got it from.

NOTE: The manual to which I refer is the printed one, not the text-only one inside the game. There is also a PDF version of it that comes with the game, but you get to it from the opening screen (the small one), not from inside the game. The link is right below the word "PLAY".
