Please help, how do I calculate how many barges required for a Beach Assault, not sure, I read the manual and understand how much a truck can carry and tow. But I'm not sure with barges, how many tanks, guns, troops, etc. Thank you for any help.

Well...I haven't played with barges except in canned scenarios but looking from OOB it's carry capacity is 254. This means it can carry all sorts of things to the maximum 'weight' of 54. When you look at the weight of, say M4A2 Sherman it's weight is 230. The first number means it's a heavy vehicle and the actual weight is 30..so you can fit one of these on a barge, plus smaller units 24 pts worth. Two 12-men squads for example. Hmm...hopefully not that far off
