Aha I've worked it out - I cut and pasted the full stop too!

Sorry for my cack handedness - just getting into PBEM, Germany - are you worried yet that your ally seems even more incompetent than that fool musolini?

Turn 1 sent to Soviet Union.  For my turn, my AF in China got a bloody nose.  I have a large invasion fleet in the water.  Since we are playing with FOW, I won't say where.

Turn 2 sent to Germany.
Turn 1 went pretty good...
-Germany punished Leningrad with multiply air strikes and lost lots of planes. In the end superior Russian forces held the city from the German ground assault. Soviet forces advanced toward the Don and set up defensive positions... Soviet air forces launch air attack against aproaching German panzer group across Don...Soviet pilots report almost complete destruction of Panzer unit.

Gernany turn 2 sent to jjdenver

Unfortunately the germans did not sequence their orders very well and unnecessary losses were sustained.

Germany turn 4 sent to jjdenver

Heavy fighting against American invaders have inflicted sizable losses on them. The East front has also decimated a lot of Russian units.

Germany turn 5 sent to jjdenver

Continued heavy fighting in western France and on the East front. Germans have killed more than they have lost in this early two front war.

Sunk some American cargoships this turn and eliminated several American and Russian units.

Germqny turn 6 sent to jjdenver

A hard fight, sent some more American ships to the bottom and knocked out some American troops in France, now back in Spain.

The East front retook the Ukraine and knocked out quite a few Russian unirts. We do need more troops to push them back though.

The German air force is alive and well assisting the ground units in their fights.

There can't be many US ships left  I sunk 2 carriers, a cruiser, 2 destroyers and 2 cargo ships this turn.

Pushed three US landing forces back into the sea, though New Zealand is back under the British Jackboot.

Looks like a Soviet Army is intent on invading China, will they never learn?

Germany turn 7 sent to jjdenver.

Sank two loaded american cargoships and a few destroyers.  Hard fights against Amercans along the Spanish border and against Russians in the east front. Lost some aircraft but knocked out more troops than were lost by a good margin.

Germany turn 8 sent to jjdenver.

Lost some aircraft this turn but also knocked the British back into the mediterranean sea. The US has been pushed back into Spain and a fair number of russian units have been knocked out and the front has shifted a bit to the east.

Germany turn 9 sent to jjdenver.

The pressure is on fighting on 3 fronts.  Pushed the Americans deeper into Spain and kicked the British 2nd invasion out of the Balkans into the sea.  Hit the Russians on the east front and knocked out several units and weakened others. I need more tanks and more infantry and more planes !!

Gemany turn 10 sent to jjdenver.

A difficult turn for Germany.  A massive American invasion with many units along the Channel coast and the North Sea Coast, units in every hex !  Germany managed to kill almost all of them and weaken the sole surviving unit but at the horrendous cost of being almost passive on the Russian front.

Germany turn 11 sent to jjdenver.

Germany is under lots of pressure on three fronts. Managed to hold on and push back some more but at a high cost in troops and aircraft.

Japan turn 11 sent to the US.

Another soviet city captured, and the US, having turned all it's industrial strength against the Reich is practically out of the war in the pacific theatre at the moment. However the British Empire is proving a more than worthy opponent, pushing me back out of Burma and India, capturing one Japanese Island and landing at another - I've pushed him back into the sea in the second, but I'm sure there's plenty more to come.

Germany turn 12 sent to jjdenver

The German forces are now finding themselves spread all over the European map rushing from one emergency situation to the next one, begoinning to be an impossible task.

Again pushed back American hordes that landed and retook the Ukraine again with knocking off some Russian units. The British in the Balkans on the other hand went pretty much untouched.

Sent on to USA. Captured another Soviet city which leaves them only 3 remaining. Also recaptured Borneo from the Brits, and repelled  a further invasion in Sumatra. But just as the Imperial air force seems to be getting to grips with the Brits, the Royal navy has started mauling our fleet!

Germany turn 13 sent to jjdenver.

Still holding on but facing incresing strength mainly from the English.  Eliminated some more American units landed in France and blunted a Russian advance on Leningrad. Also knocked out some English units nearing Italy from the southeast.

Altogether killed a lot more units than Germany lost this turn although the German air force lost some fighters. Glad to hear that Japan is doing good against the Russians, that helps reducing the third front a bit.

Germany turn 14 sent to jjdenver.

Against all odds Germany is still holding out, now on 4 fronts.  Managed to sink 2 American cargoships again and clearing out France again. A new American invasion from the north in Finland was hit but is still there as a threat. In the east just nicked the russians a little and in the south eliminated a few english at a great cost. The german lands are shrinking.

Still fighting on four fronts. Looks like I can handle 2 fronts just fine but 4 fronts at the same time is overwhelming the defenses gradually.

Germany turn 16 sent to jjdenver

A massive American new invasion in France was contained and mostly eliminated again. Retook the Italian area from the British and am still holding in the north front. In the east against Russia not much happened.  Time is running out for Germany, there aree too many opponent forces arranged all around Germany.

Ge turn 17 sent to jjdenver

Germany still has a few teeth left, Eliminated most of the new American invasion and concentrations around Paris. Hit the Russians in the east a few unexpected licks again.
The British also took a few losses but Germany could not push them back. Germany is collecting its last reserves.

Germany turn 18 sent to jjdenver

Still another American invasion in France mostly eliminated and knocked out a fair number of Russian troops as well.  Retook Leningrad and the Ukraine from the Russians.

The British are getting too strong to budge in southern Europe. Do not know how long Germany can hold out, we are on borrowed time now.
