Can anyone tell me if 6.10.2 Ready Aircraft of the Manual does really work?
I can in no way make it working, I mean to ready 1 Falcon with named loadout.
I am an old harpooner and I remember that it worked.

I am not sure but if the "Full Realism" is checked and the ammo dump does not have the stored munitions, then it will not ready the AC. Not sure if that is what you needed.

Difficulty set to average. Can you try Lesson 6, Ready Aircraft?..Ready Aircraft working on carrier, but not in Land Base.

Moerover this Land Base Ready Aircraft option seems not to work only in this Tutorial

Got it...no stored ammos..strange tutorial

Knaust,

Aircraft Logistics is working, in fact I have spent a great deal of time making sure my airbase ammunition dumps have the correct weapons available so it works correctly when using the HUD3. I have included a screen shot of the "Ready aircraft" window from Tutorial 6 below showing the basic loadouts available to the 4 x F-16s that are unloaded at the commencement of Tutorial 6.

As has been mentioned, you will need to check that you have the air logistics (limited loadouts) function set to work to see the limited available loadouts. There is also the question of different databases using the loadout ready time function and this may cause you some issues. I have yet to really implement the ready time functions in the HUD3 as I am still investigating the correct times and also would like to implement this as a way of differentiating the training level of various countries ground crews. You may find that loading a F-16 may take several hours in some databases, in most cases the HUD3 will still utilise the standard 30 minute ready time.

Cheers

Darren

Knaust,

It should be part of the Patch, well I hope it is...

Just select the Database Tab in the launcher and then select the HUD3 from the drop down menu. You should also find all of the Tutorial scens rebuilt and updated. I'm working on the HUD3 website as we "speak" and I'll be updating everyone as I complete the work.

Cheers

Darren

Knaust,

You're right it's not part of 3.8.0. The HUD3 has just been released as part of the public beta patch (3.9.0), available in the Matrix Members Area. When you download the patch it will install the HUD3; the updated scenarios and also add the new Harpoon Media Viewer and files so you can view colour and in a lot of cases multiple images related to the database platforms.

Cheers

Darren
