tried again. Let me know if any problems. I am playing so many games it gets a bit confusing sometimes who is who, especially as similar people are playing. I am currently playing 7 PBM's 2 of which are diplomacy scenarios, as well as trying to build a star trek mod. My wife thinks I am barmy spending so much time on a game that looks so trashy. I've tried telling her about the awsome playability and how you can transfer this and build that but she starts getting glassy eyed . Just don't understand the female mind. I did have a lovely valentines day with her though. By the way, does anyone know how to take screenshots of the whole screen ?(not just the map in the savefile).

Turn been to Russia and are forwarded to Turkey. Bartheart is on vacation until the 24th if I remember correctly so there will be a few days delay.

@Bulldog: I use the "prt scr" (print screen) button. Usually found in the top most key row to the right of F12. Then I paste it in MS Paint. If you already knew that and I missunderstood your question I appologize.

Cheers

My print screen button will not work thats why I was asking .

So what i usually do is hit alt + Print Scrn. This will copy the current focus window to the buffer.

Then you have to open another application and "paste" ctrl-v from the buffer into the application.

If thats not working then its a windows issue that i dont understand.

So, uh, what happens when someone surrenders?  Have not seen it before.

What happens to their units and uncaptured cities?

They're just easy meat for those around them. Not much fun for me as I'm at war with a country bordering the Balkans, free cities for him, and the ability to transfer his whole army to the front against me, just as I seemed to have defeated him too

Don't take it personally, it's just a game.

Understand it's no fun to be in the midst of a pack of hungry wolfs. Well played and see you around.

Frances turn completed and sent to Blighty. Sorry to hear of Balkan surrender, that sounds nasty with so many against you. I know it can be hard with 2 attacking you from another game I am playing, so 4 must be really bad. I suppose the race is on to capture the remaining lands.

I don't know what happens too when someone surrender... To be sure this was my last turn i left all my cities, so don't hesitate to go on !!
It was an interesting game for me, it s too bad i didn t have time to fight face to face with Turkey... Now i know that to win a war you don't have to be a good tactician, but a good diplomat !!

Good luck !

Turn 8 sent to Spain.

Yes I too was looking forward to battling the Balkans. Perhaps in another game where the ideas of the other power do not line up so well.

Well played waichou, under VERY difficult conditions.

Turn sent on to Germany. So? Is it time someone drew up a diplomacy matrix to show who's with who. I'm sure we must be nearing a two large alliances world war one type stage of the game. Is it North vs South? East vs West? or a patchwork slugfest?

France and Britain are obviously co-operating against poor, peace loving Spain. The Balkans were ripped into by Turkey and Italy, with Russia grabbing a small piece of the action too late for any benefits. Germany is doing incredibly well to hold together a functioning empire despite the fall of her capital. As I chase German troops South, the entire German state seems to move Southwards.

Is the game still on?

I'll be on holiday until the 18th but regarding the current pace of this game there shouldn't be a problem.
