Japan Fall42

Spies indicated a Carrier Fleet docked in Seattle Harbor.
It was put to vote and everyone unanomously aggreed to strike Seattle again even though they new the defenses would be tougher this time around.

This was the second CAG air battle in a row that the WA scored the dam auto hit causing another destroyed JP CAG.
The price was high but the mission was successfull, completely destroying the Carrier.
Back to Hawii we went and knocked out the Artillary there.

Java was accepted into the JP fold.
2 WA LFs (one a frenchy) were damaged off of the coast of India.
Freshly repaired Indian Factorys were leveled.
JP submarine goes hunting and destroys a tranny off the Southern tip of Africa.

The only difficulties so far (besides being on the wrong end of auto hit) is we are burning to much supply in our aggresive attitude making it difficult to repair our conqured resources.

Lets see what 43 brings.

Russia/China – Fall ’42: Not much happening for Russia this turn. They retook an unoccupied zone in the Ukraine and repositioned to try to slow the Germans in the North. China makes its gambit for fame and fails. Some Japanese units are damaged.

Turn sent to Haudrauf.

The Allies are still struggling to break the Japanese superiority in the Pacific theatre. In the Arabic sea we sunk a Japanese destroyer. Moreover a Japanese BB cruising on the Indian west coast was sunk while we also lost a BB. The defense of India is strengthened, and also Australia is still standing.

Sorry for the delay, I thought I'd answer quickly but real life kept interfering.

And then I go and delay also.
Worked way too many hours this week At least the weather was good.

Now on to JP Winter43

Hawaii has been captured and occupied after we destroyed the remaining 2 Light Fleet in the Harbor.
USA has 5 Carriers with Land based escort stationed off the coast of California.
USA has increased its sub evasion and probably working on torpedoes
Counter measures will have to be devised.

Also the Aggresive nature of JP has enticed us to venture further West.
We floated on over and landed troops in a vacant East Africa.

Of *note* replay of last turn showed no attacks on my JP sub down off of South Africa and the allies appeared to ship units via tranny right through with no op-fire from my sub.
A light fleet also appeared to cruise right over my sub and attack my light fleet a little more north again with no op-fire from my sub.

The Allied command ordered its carrier fleet to do a first exercise attack on a Japanese BB, a transport and a tactical bomber west of Hawaii. All of them were successfully destroyed without any losses on our side. Another Japanse transport south of India could be sunk by our brave fighter pilots. Two German subs cruising close two Brasil were also destroyed. Lets hope that overstretched Japanese supply lines will cause some trouble.

Don't believe the Feindsender! The Uboats just needed a little new paint!

Germany, Spring '43: Adolf is unhappy about what has to be called lack of initiative. An attack on Kharkov goes worse than expected... ahem: The heroic Landsers fight a stunning battle and then order a minor tactical retreat.

Japan Spring43

Sorry for the delay guys.
Been nothing but work, work, work with a little sleep mixed in here and there.
Then I went and got a bit sick, nothing major but enough that I had to choose sleep over gameing.

Ok, feeling much better today and trying to catch up on my games.

Japs flex there weak muscles again this season:
1) bomb resource in Cairo with the excellent side benifit of eating up the last WA supply in that region
2) capture Irak
3) torch all factorys in India area and take down a few WA fighters also in the region.
4) Drag US carriers into attrition battle off the Alucian Islands (no idea how to spell that) SW of Alaska.

Japan Fall43

US sub patroling our teritorial waters was damaged but the crew surrendered when it realized it was to far from a home port to limp home.

The usual Japanese aggression eating up supply faster than we can make it.
South Africans are learning how to eat with chop sticks.

Turn received from Haudrauf yesterday.

Germany, Winter '44: Better late than never - Cairo is taken against unsupplied British defenders thanks to a terrific Japanese performance in the Indian Ocean. Other than that the Wehrmacht moves around in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Japan Winter44

Japan moves into Eastern India See SS
Chineese are noted as a slight irritation, but there lack of supply should keep them off of the offensive a while.

A unsupplied light fleet is destroyed trying to escape Cairo.

Rhodesia is taken and a retreat bug is noted.
A unsupplied fighter escapes moving 4 mps when WA only have 3mp fighters.
See SS in next post.

Axis achieve first water mark.

This bug may or may not have already been addressed in 1.02

Turn received from Haudrauf on March 9.

Germany, Spring '44: Two battles in the East, one going rather bad, the other okay. Not much luck above Scotland either.

Turn sent to MrQuiet.

Still an obscene amount of Soviet espionage going on, despite German defense:
