While playing a scenario (happens in tutorials as well) the screen colours reset after an indeterminate number of turns. Attempted to select a different scheme to re-set colours but has no effect. Am playing full screen, not windowed at 1280 * 1048 resolution. Nvidia 7600 Graphics with latest drivers.

I also had some weird coloring issues when playing full screen, but it was due to alt+tabbing. Usually the 'esc' key would clear them out or maximizing one of the windows. The problem is gone since I switched to window mode.

Hmm. Thanks. I will try this suggestion and see what happens. The problem does not occur all of the time so is difficult to diagnose properly. Thanks for the reply.

I've found it has something to do with switch between the 256 colour default palette ANW uses and the x million colours most of us use on our desktops. I've switched between NVidia and ATI cards with little difference in the this issue. My current ATI card wipes the colour from numerous icons on my desktop when I alt-tab when running ANW in full screen although the game seems to retain it's colours ok.

I've stated eleswhere that I use the window mode almost exclusively and using the customisible values for width and height in the launcher I can if I wish cover my desktop with the game window, without the need to run the game in full screen.
