Hey Matrix guys,
Wonderful job with SP:WAW! ***** out of 5! Now, how difficult would it be to create a surface navy wargame based on the SPWAW game engine? It seems that this engine could be fairly easily adapted to do naval battles with something like the following parameters:
500 to 1000 meters per hex, 10 to 15 minutes per turn, with control over individual ships.
SPWAW already has small ships built in. Could they be expanded on? I think it would be great to re-fight the Coral Sea, the pursuit of the Graf Spee, or even earlier battles like Juttland and Tsushima. Heck, we might even relive the Monitor vs. CSS Virginia (though I HATE stalemates)! What could be noisier than a REALLY big-gun duke-out between the Missouri and the Yamato? Just some rambling thoughts, guys, and (hint) I would buy it! (Price is right, of course.)
I’m relatively new here, so excuse me if I’m stirring up old sh*t.
Again, thanks for SP:WAW. Life is good.
O. Bradley
