Hello all. I am having difficulties running PACWAR and WIR on my laptop. Dell Inspiron 4000 P3 700 128RAM WindowsME.

The games install and run just fine, but unlike when playing on a desktop, the color schemes and graphics are all screwed up on the laptop. For example, in WIR, instead of a grey background on the opening screen, I get a beige and it is impossible to distinguish what text is buttons and what is not. Ingame, none of the unit icons are right, they are all blurry or look to be some kind of pre-CGA color scheme.

In PACWAR, its even worse. While WIR is semi-playable the way it is, PACWAR is unplayable. There are no distinguishible buttons anywhere in the game and 90% of the text is unreadable (the text is the same color as the background it is written on).

Anyone else having this problem?

I would appreciate any assistance any of you folks could give. Thanks in advance.

Jason
