I just got the tutorial and am attempting to acquire some knowledge of the game--never played the boardgame version. On p 20 of the tutorial the first three lines instruct the player to "highlight Spain and double-click in the 'Allies to call' and 'Answer call for' boxes for Spain." I tried to do so, but, after getting a checkmark in the "Allies to call" box for Spain, when I double-clicked on Spain's box for "Answer call for," it unchecked the first box. I tried several times, but I could not get both boxes checked.

Additionally, I had also succeeded in allying with Turkey. I discovered that double-clicking on either of Turkey's boxes would also uncheck whichever Spanish box I had checked. So, the upshot is, I can only choose to either call for, or answer the call of, any one ally, and must ignore all other possibilities.

Since the tutorial expressly indicates that I should be able to choose both boxes--and, I'm guessing, choose either or both boxes for any ally I may have--I'm wondering what's wrong.

I'm running version 1.01b, and my system runs Vista Home Premium with a 3.21 GHz Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor and 3Gb of RAM. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 3800 series.

True enough, looks like there's a problem with the tutorial. To describe how it's supposed to work --

Select the ally you want to call (or whose call you're willing to answer), and in the lower table, click the boxes for the other nations -- either your targets, specifically cases in which you'd call the ally; or the nations that the ally is asking you to DOW on.
