I am looking at downloading some more scenario's. Can those who have played the following scenario's give me an idea of whether the AI's performance makes them a worthwhile download ?

Salerno VI Corps v12
Fall Gr�n
Great War
Big Four
South American War

Hi Arckon,

AI+ is a challenging opponent in South American War IMHO. I had fun with this one.

Thanks Shambling Strider will give that one a go then.

Anyone else on any of the other scenario's. I only listed the ones there were no real comments on the AI for over at the community website, downloaded some others that did have comments. I know there not big downloads, question is due more to not enough time to play, I would rather play a scenario I know has relatively decent AI rather than spending that precious gaming time finding out the AI ain't that great. If I played PBEM I wouldn't have to ask the question but at the moment AI play is best option.

Well I didn't play any of these scenarios, but I can say something about the AI in general in that it is quite decent. It will throw anything at you, and tries to outmanouvre your units. It *will* take you by surprise if you're not prepared. Having said that... it's still no match for an experienced player so that's why most ppl play against AI+ or AI++. I would avoid maps with lots of rivers and ocean, the AI doesn't shine here. Big land maps on the other hand, like "Big Four" are ...IMHO... fun to play.

Well - Salerno is really pretty short. I suspect it does better as German AI with Human US.

With Salerno, I only got a minor victory as axis in my first game. Though was only one turn short of a major victory. I'd say it's a decent fight from the AI.
