Looking at CV and BB only is too narrow. Yes, the big gun battleships and the carriers were the sexy end of the market, but in terms of story, contribution to the war etc it is often some of the "lesser" ships that need and should be remembered for a variety of reasons. So the Unryu was sunk in the East China Sea? And? So what? How about its decided how many names can be used and then we ask for reasons for inclusion? For example Bismarck, Hood, Prince of Wales, Yamato, Yorktown, Akagi etc yes of course they need inclusion. But what about HMS Glowworm, HMS Onslow, HMS Coventry and their VC heroes, what about the brave men of the USS Reuben James lost before the US were even in the war, the tragic story of the Sullivan brothers on USS Juneau? The fundamental decency in treatment of POW`s of the Kreigsmarine Captain Langsdorff of the Graf Spee. The write ups give players a taster for further info - adding these lesser known names to the map could provide the same stimulus for knowledge.
