Those are the 4 rosters available. You can change the teams names and cities. There must be enought interest ourt there to fill those 4 teams.

Jeanbou,
in A Maximum Football online league you don't "play" Although leagues vary in most you send the commish a playbook, uniform, and profile. The games are simmed so it's not like Madden where you play h2h.

Nice job with the players pictures. Some of the files will not download or are not found....

seven, eleven and fifteen (I'll have to check again)

I may be interested in your football league if it is a mangers type of league. Problem is I can't do uniforms, helmets or art work and I've never attempted the playbook. I've had the game for about 3 days now and I've been playing around with it.

I am a huge CFL fan and very dedicated in all the leagues I participate in for various sports.

Can you give me some more details and what I would have to do?

Thanks
Rick

Welcome to Maximum Football Rick. Do you own Maximum Football? You can download uniforms, stadiums, and rosters from www.eamods.com but you will need a free membership (we also have a small forum over there) www.fbmax.com or http://www.thornbird.net/football/

Hi Rick & Welcome
Basically taking part in the VCFL works like this:
Each week you send your orders to VCFLCommish
that being depth charts, playbooks & so on, he then inputs all your instructions
and sims or allows the game to play on its own (Computer V Computer),
you recieve all the data from that and away you go again for the next match and so on, thats more or less how it works

On first setting up, you would need to pick an open team from the 4 available (you can change team name, uniforms and stadium if you wish)
if you change the team to one of your choice, you would need to send the uniforms and stadium to VCFLCommish aswell.

And thats it.

Any help you need with Uniforms etc or modifying a stadium to your liking (if your making a fantasy team to take part)
give me a shout in PM, I'll be happy to help you out (just dont give me a huge list).

Any Proper CFL Stadiums or Uniforms you need, I have those made already
(Stadiums are already uploaded to FBMax in the unsorted area under the file name: "Max Mod CFL Stadia")
so you can just go download those straight off.

Anyway See you around and remember if you need help with something - just Ask
If I cant help someone else might, its a great community here and everyone helps each other, so dont be too shy to ask.

Later Bro, Mykal

Hi Ryan,

Yes I've got the game and have been playing around with it for a few days. I must say it is a good effort and look forward to seeing further development, updates and improvements.

I'm a numbers guy and to me any computer football game should easily and efficiently produce team and league reports. I know right now this needs some work, but I'm sure it will be addressed as the game continues to be developed, at least I'm hoping that is the situation!

Right now, I've set things up in excel so I can copy and paste HTML files and then rearrange, alter and produce league reports in a more presentable and organized manner.

Other than that I enjoy the game!!

Hello Mykal,

Thanks for the welcome!!

If I'm looking at the correct web site for the league then I would ask for the Ottawa Renegades team.

I guess upon approval from the VCFL Commissioner then all I would require is art work for this team, stadium and playbook.

Now, I've downloaded a ton of stuff off various sites, which includes your artwork (thanks!) so picking Renegades uniforms, helmets and such is no problem. I have both Frank Clair and Lansdowne Park Stadiums so that is good to go.

Finally, I've been using the CFL Play Book I found on line and I think that should work as well.

It appears all the hard work has been done and I don't need to trouble you at all......you've already done the work!!

Thanks and look forward to playing with you in this league.

Don't worry about that. If you want something just put it in the suggestions area and David will see it. David works very hard on this game and he listens to the community. I hope you enjoy Maximum Football.

OK Brother, so your good to go then, kewl
although I am always updating uniforms and stuff,
so an updated pack of CFL uniforms might be of interest to you,
I can also take a look at the renegades Uniforms again and see if I can clean it up, havnt re-done Ottawa yet with them being defunct.

So give me a shout if you want anything, later Brother, Mykal

Well if you want a bit of a uniform challenge I would really like the Ottawa Rough Riders! Actually, I would assume it to be simpler than the Renegades. Black and white, a bit of red and a huge letter "R" on the helmet.

Either way is good and I'll go with that.

Good guess, Canada is correct!

46 years young

I don't have a favorite team as I'm a fan of the league as a whole. I would guess Toronto since I live close to the city and grew up there. I loved the old CFL of the 70's and 80's and my favorite players back then was Chuck Ealey and then Terry Metcalf.

Also, instead of oh canada on you league web page just call me Rick, easier on the eyes.....

Ooh, Ottawa Rough Riders.............now that will be challenge
not being from Canada or America my knowlege of team uniforms isnt that great
(unless your talking Jacksonville Jaguars from the NFL, thats a different story, I'm a huge Jags fan infact my whole living room is decked out in Jaguars memoriblia...........looks like a little piece of Florida.......in Hull UK....hahahahaha).

But I'll see what I can find with regard to photo's of the old Ottawa Rough Riders uniforms,
if I can find any to use as reference then I'll do you the Uniforms, no problem.

No worries....either way is fine.

Here are some examples of the uniform. Very basic white home with main red strip and black trim. Road solid black with red stripe and white trim. Pants always white with red strip and black trim (three stripes thin outer black and thicker inner red)

Black helmet with red or white stripe down the middle and a large "R" white on the helmet sides. This changed very little in the years gone by.

I've embeded a few pictures and sorry some are black and white. It should help you out I think. Check the next posts as well.

Jersey numbers and players names are black or white.

Rick
