ORIGINAL: Denniss I see several problems here. There never was a G-10/AS although the DB605DB of the G-10 could be replaced by a late-war DB 605ASB (improved 605AS with more or less the same power as DB605DB used by G-10) Roger, I have it using the same/close to same engine as the AS model (that why I didn't want to add in a G-10/AS model :) The successor of the G-6 was the G-14, the G-14 is basically a late-production G-6 with MW-50. The successor of the G-5/AS should be a G-14/AS or the G-10 (better stick to one of these two although both were built in large numbers (~1500 each but don't nail me on this)). Then there's the K-4. Roger, the G-5/AS will upgrade to the G-14, what is odd is the G-14 came before the G-10 did It's really not easy to determine the proper upgrade paths with these many variants. even worse, trying to lock down who flew what and when, one pilot saying late in the war, there were alot of planes around, so if a plane was damaged, it was easier to just go to the park and pick up a new one, then to repair the old one, Pilot says there were 100s of of them just sitting around and as the QMs didn't care any more, would say, take what you want, G-10, G-14, K-4, what ever the pilot felt like flying back to base
