Now the Hetzer. I really regret that the did cutaways on some of these AFV's. They should have been kept intact.

Great photos. Thanks for sharing Double D.

When I first saw the topic I thought you meant Aberdeen, Scotland, UK! LOL. That place is an oil town and I was thinking what on earth would this be doing there

Thanks - that is one huge tank park ! I thought I saw one tank as in the Saving Private Ryan. The Germans sure built mean machines. By the way, your grandson is a great kid - it was a hot day.

(I'm sure some will disagree) but overall the JagdPanther seems to be regarded as the Tank Destroyer of the War.

Although not wanting to invite another 10 page discussion on Axis vs Allied equipment I would say most authors would say that on the ground German equipment was better 1 vs 1 Allied equipment

Yes, he is a good kid. We did a lot of walking, a lot of looking, a lot of picture taking and even skipped lunch. Not one complaint. Altho cruising along in the Vette on the way home when I told him that we "sure are tank kids" he said "not me". I guess that leaves me as the "tank kid". Then he slept for an hour. He and I have spent just about every weekday this school year together except for his afternoon preschool. I've really enjoyed it and will miss it when he starts full time kindergarten. It has been a really good year with him.

I agree with you on that.

I beg all of you please...if you want to see the rest of the pictures then take all pi..ing contests elsewhere. Or at the very least wait until I get them all posted.
