Hi all! I received very positive comments after releasing modified OOBs for SPWaW v6.1, this was kinda green light for me to go on. I'm currently modifying v7.1 OOBs, reintroducing changes I made to 6.1 OOBs like creating Siege Howitzer and making Railroad Gun available etc. But also, I'm making new modifications! My love for Super Heavy tanks hasn't changed, but I'd like to see more other than just German Super Tanks (there are Pz VII Löwe, Pz VIII Maus, Panther II and E-100...not planning to add any more german supertanks). So, you allied equipment lovers...now is your chance to see allied project tanks in the game :) Websites and/or e-mailed facts are more than welcome! Availability dates for A39 Tortoise and A43 Black Prince would be much appreciated. Anyway, here is a list of general changes, which are more or less applied to every country. - Gave Utility Vehicle to HQ (if there was utility vehicle available in OOB) - Reduced the effectiveness and accuracy of flamethrowers, now the flame-thrower isn't that much of über-weapon. - Gave dedicated artillery flag to ALL artillery units. - Gave recon flag to ALL recon and FO units. - Created Mobile FO (1 x FO + 1 x Utility Vehicle) - Gave Elite Recon flag to Strike Elements. - Motorcycles: Increased the price slightly and decreased the speed. Latter is to simulate the fact that in misc terrain the motorcycles top speed cannot be used completely. - Used special formula to calculate new HE kill value for double, triple, quadruple etc. mounts. n sum (1/i^n)*P, where i=1 P = HE Kill of single weapon n = amount of weapons bundled - Reduced AP shots from Heavy AA guns. There are just a couple of AP shots left, most ammo consists of HE shots. If the gun was widely used in real life in ATG role, then there will be a separate AT version available to buy (german 88 for example!). I did this modification because too many players tend to think "Heavy AA Gun = Heavy AT Gun". - Made larger (75mm ->) howitzers available on-board. - Increased SP-rocket launchers rate of fire upto 99, in order to get them to empty their tubes in one turn (=in one minute). - Decreased Ammo Carrier prices by a factor of 25%. - Decreased SP-artillery and SP-rocket launcer unit prices by a factor of 10%, USSR 15%. There are a couple of "generic" units: Siege Howitzer, Railroad Gun, Mine Dog, Bomb Shelter and Train. Also, some people might think I'm insane :D , but I also added Penal units for USSR and Germany. These poor guys are to be used as cannon fodder and/or minefield detectors (they've found one, when you hear BOOM! :p ). Only weaponry they got is a few molotovs or anti-tank mines, also they and suffer -10 experience/morale (= second line troops). For several countries I created SMG as secondary infantry weapons, since there was numerous units which had both rifles and SMGs for primary weapons (after firing rifles, each guy in the squad grabs SMGs and fire a few bursts???). Now those squads function more "realistically". etc. etc. etc. :) Comments and suggestions are welcome! Colonel von Blitz
