hey boys! had a little setback in the recovery and had a past fun couple of days lol I'll be back in the saddle shortly. Mykla I'll help as best I can with the uni's too so dont think you'll be alone bud!

What happened I have been to the MaxMod acount and you havn't been there or here at all. Mykal I had my AFL crazy friend over and showed him your uniforms and he thinks they are pretty accurate.

sorry boys had a bigger issue with an infection than first thought I'm home again and everything looks ok. I'll be back at work tomorrow so hopefully everything goes well and then back to the mod! And ya Rhino I havent been anywhere near a computer since I last posted.

All I have to say is thank god for medical coverage or that would have sucked even more than it did.

Nice to see you back Hoop. I thought either you were dead or liked ignoring me lol. I can't wait to get some more stuff done. Mykal has made some sweet AFL uniforms if you havn't already seen them.

getting a little behind on though at the moment

been busy assisting VCFL Commish with the VCFL league
VCFL has gotta come before anything else, given I'm the League's President
and our new season is fast approaching

But dont worry, I certainly havn't forgot about the MaxMod

as you can see some of the uniforms are marked with "MSO94"
I have checked through these uniforms and in my opinion they dont need re-making
so they can just be downloaded from FBMax and added to the mod
the rest I'm sending as I make them.

any of the ones not already highlighted you can do if you wish
Would defo save me some time

Just give me a shout on here to let me know which ones you intend to do
cos we dont wanna both be working on the same uni at the same time

also if you can me a 2nd shout when you've sent the finished uni into the maxmod email
I can mark them off the list as done and flag it as made by you.

I'm holding off making anymore uniforms at present
not just AFL, all uniforms
so if either of you want to finish the AFL project
go right ahead.

My patients with MaxFootball has just about evapourated
so I'll be switching back to Madden for now,
until the situation with MF changes and game play is more stable

Dont worry though, I aint bailing out completely
I'll still be around but just not half way as much
spent way to much time modding this game to totally bail

Has anyone heard from Hoop? He was about to start compiling when he was last online. He has not been online for 9 days and I have emailed him twice, but no replies. I was going to compile without him, but he has some of the files I need.

Hoop is fine, but his computer is toast so thats why he hasn't been online. We have about 15 uniforms left to make so give us about two weeks before we release the mod. Sorry for the wait, but the mod will be released soon.

Gentlemen,

My most profound apologies on not having the CFL Rosters done yet. My first-born just turned one, and I've had a hell of a time trying to find sometime to do anything. The good news is that I have been able to rework my schedule, and should have a fair amount of free time to actually sit down and hammer out these rosters this weekend. If I don't have them posted by 11:59pm on Monday night, I just might shoot myself.

However, for right now, I'm going back to watching my beloved Tiger-Cats kicking Argonaut @$$. It's 14-6 at the half, and boy do they look good tonight.

I saw something somewhere in this thread that said someone completed the player faces for the CFL.

Can I ask where they might be stored? I tried FBMax, but the file is 404'ing.

Okay, so I have the CFL players entered by position and number. I'm just taking some extra time to make sure the players skin colour matches Mykal's player photos (for those players whom I am not particularily familiar), and then going to use jdhalfrack's player editor to fine tune the player's vital statistics, nationality and abilities.

Throwing a monkey wrench into things is that I'm moving at the end of this week, so I may be a little pre-occupied on things other than MaxFB.

We'll have these up and running in short order, though.

but the player photo's were provided by VCFL Commish
I just have them on my site, with permission of course

Hey folks...

Back in action. We just moved into a nice little back-split, the PC is all connected and we're ready to rock and roll.

Status Update:

The rosters have been entered with the Depth Charts I was able to get before the season started. Winnipeg and Saskatchewan don't provide depth charts on their website or to the CFL's website, so I have to synch up their rosters with who they currently have, and then fine tune skin tones and players vital statistics.

I should have that done by weeks's end.

Okay, I have good news and bad news...

The good news is that I will be posting the CFL Rosters to FBMax tonight, sometime around 8:30pm EDT.

The bad news is that they aren't as complete as I would have liked. All the players are in, but their heights, weights and skin tones aren't all matched up the way they should be. I got the official "I hate Maximum Football" from the wife last night, and the subsequent short conversation yielded from her the clenched teeth, red-in-the-face, eye-bugging-out, all-one-word, " ITSJUSTA&*@#INGGAME!!! " So I have to cut my efforts short, or I'll be looking for a new place to sleep.

One other problem with the database that I'll be posting is that I can't get the current season to end. I had started a season as the rosters from a proper draft are much better than when the game creates a roster for a blank team in Quick Play. When I created the CFL leage, it was with the Ottawa Renegades included. I Ended the season and deleted the Renegades to make it more life-like for the users, and then do a soft reset to bring the league back to 0 Seasons played, but it's not working like that. It's staying like we're at the start of season 1, and I can't alter the Setup of the League to move the Blue Bombers back to the East.

So it ain't perfect, but if someone wants to fix that database problem, feel free.

I can take a look at the DB problem for ya' Brockleigh, shouldnt be too hard to fix (said tongue in cheek with hope)
once (if) I fix it, do you mind if I add it to my CFL Downloads page ?

Yep same here, it wont reset to season 0 but thats no real problem its set at the start of season 1 ready to play

sorted that for ya' Brockleigh, did it in access, simply changed the league ID tag of WPG from 2 to 3, loaded up the game and hey presto
