We have a PBEM game stalled due to a battle file that is demanded by the client despite the battle long since being concluded. I think this is a known bug that is fixed in 1.03?

In any case we need to have our game fixed so we can proceed. Is this possible? I attach a save file in the hopes that it can!

Marshall may also need the password for the active player, if you are using them.

Hi Soap Frog.
Im guessing some MP had a battle send the result to the attacker, and though the battle ended, his game asks for result file.

What i would do, and done a couple times, since�I�did encounter something witch sounded like this. Move your battlefile out of the battlefolder.
Use the load next pbm file you use when you load other players phases.
The savegame should stop asking for a battlefile now.

If your are host Maybe backup your savegame first.

If it works, just delete the old battlefile.

Marshall we are still afflicted by this hung battle file, can you use what I attached in the thread? Is it better to just send you an email?

Actually; whoever is the host of your game needs to send in the copy of the game
updated to the point of hanging. Appearently there are some internal flags that
get set & then do not get reset again. Marshall can manually reset these (this
will be fixed in 1.03) & send the game back again. (My Cleverdevils2 game has
had this 3 times now & Marshall has fixed 2 of them - the 3rd just happened yesterday
& I tried to upload the game files to another thread & there is a problem with
Matrix's new website that breaks uploading. I am waiting for that to be fixed &
then hopefully Marshall will be kind enough to fix the game the 3rd time).

I am the host; save file is attached in the first post; it is at the point at which we are stuck.
