Great new look guys but... none of the embedded pics are showing up!?!

And my time stamp is not taking my profile adjustment, -5 hours. It's 7:10 am now.

The upgrade and move is still in progress, there will likely be quite a few rough edges for a few days until we sort everything out. Glad you like it though!

Erik, please tell us that all of the data will be migrated as well. There seems to be quite a bit missing....

Funny...it seems slower to me.  But it looks fantastic !    Hey do any of you old timers remember the howls when Matrix moved from the "dark" format to the current light format?

Hi Everyone

This will be a major move to much faster network and servers.  It will also include a major facelift to our web site as well.  We will have some rough edges for a few days but that is just do to the size of the data that needs to be moved.  We fully expect everything to be fully moved over from our old network when we are done.  If anyone finds a mistake or anything else that maybe an issue please post it here.

David

It's certainly a nice improvement, so hats off to the web-designer.

The forums are still sort of a mess, though, at least from an organizational standpoint.

David, the most obvious things we saw so far are:

#1
The time setting is wrong (and I can't adjust it properly in my personal options)

#2
Avatar pictures are missing along with all (?) embedded pictures

#3
Extended smilies are missing

Hi all,

Finally managed to have (for the time being at least) proper time set to forums - I had to select +15 hours in my settings to get proper current time (and I live In Europe = CET "Central European Time" which is now, in summer, 2 hours from UTC = ZULU = "Greenwich Mean Time")...

Please note that when you hit "Apply" and/or "OK" in your settings screen the missing page comes up!

Some of the screenshots for the various products are very blurry. When you click the thumbnail they look okay but they are very hard to see as thumbnails.

Ex: WPO, WITP

AE shots looked okay for resolution

actually even some of the ones on the main homepage look all fuzzy....makes you not want to click reminds me of old VGA graphics....

Like the change overall.

Cheers

John

Like Dave said, there will be a couple of things not working properly for the next two or three days. So give it a few times before you bug test it . The move is still happening as you read this forums and it will still take a while to be completed too.

Hope you guys like the new layout of the site, it should be much more accessible and easier to find info. Just note the the forums itself is not going to change (for now at least), we only talk of the main website.

The preview thumbnail size changed to have them be bigger, those will be updated gradually.

Oh man, Matrix is moving into the “cutting edge” of website design-very nice indeed.
It does look much cleaner, and is faster for me.

So, now what will happen with the layout/organization of the sub forums? Will it be; alphabetically, by era, by type, or by developer? If it were up to a vote, I would go for era/war layout.

Yeah, nice, clean-looking and smooth. For those of us who work in front of PCs during our workweek, it's easy on the eye. Glad to see you guys are thinking in an ergonomically-friendly fashion.

Why are all the little pictures gone, and the art examples I posted on another thread?
