If Terminus was going to photograph a single body part, I can think of worse choices than his big toe....

Nik, why is the dumbull in a cage on your avatar?

its not a cage. Its a window protecting crumpet patrons at Pike's Place from being attacked by the deadly beast.

Take a look a Terminus' toe

Do I have to?

It doesn't appear that there are any other toes next to it. Do you think it's opposed for grasping tree branches and such?

I recognize that expression on the GF's face. It says "boys and their stupid obsessions....."

Sorry, Gem. You were serious, I know.

I'm 41, originally from Baltimore, but I moved to NC after my Navy days and married a Carolina girl.

Here's one of my favorite pictures, from the best day of my life, 3 years ago.

So, whose the guy on the left/

I know that place. It's just around from the market! It's great. You must know one of my favorite brew-pubs, just around the corner "Pike Brewing company!"

Me and a little buddy that hopped aboard the boat one night.

Wow! Was it ok?

Think so. It (he, she?) plopped up the transom step about 0130.

Next thing I know it flops up to the seat and I get a head butt on my right shoulder. Darn thing curls up by my leg like a dog, puts its head in my lap and goes to sleep! I'm drivin for about three hours with this darn seal's head in my lap. The main pic was about 0500, when the 2 crew came on watch and saw our little friend. We tried to feed it some cold, night-before, chichen ciaccatore, but no joy. It stuck with us till about 1100, and then just rolled off. Maybe it just wanted a ride; it was GD cold that night, so maybe it just wanted a huddle buddy.

Actually, hitting a seal really hard on the head with a club is the most humane way to kill it. The brain swells up and the animal goes into a coma almost immediately.

What were you doing - scanning the horizon for a first glimpse of the Japanese invasion fleet?
