I hope everyone was watching Saturday's thriller between the Als and Riders.

This play didn't turn out to have any effect on the game but I'm surprised nobody has ever done it. The Als had the ball at their 50 with 5 seconds left in the half, 3rd down. Instead of punting the ball into the red zone couldn't they have lined up like a field goal and timed it so the kicker would take a long run and just boot the ball, just over seventy yards, out of the endzone.

One point could have made a difference-they would have only had to score a touchdown and extra point at the end instead of a two point convert.
