Well, The Dark Knight was a superb film, and I have to give credit where credit is due, Heath Ledger was simply phenomenal as the Joker. He outshone EVERYBODY in the film.

If he wanted to go out on a high point, then that was it. Excellent.

That is the general critic, that Heath Ledger was the "perfect" bad guy.

I heard it was very violent and sadistic. I think I'm going to pass on that one.

I'm looking forward to the Mummy III. ....no really I am!....seriously!

Cool. I could see him playing a good Joker.

Wasn't hard to do, seeing as how it was so ... dark.

I guess I read too many Batman comic books as a kid. This doesn't seem to me to have anything much to do with how I think of Batman.

NG, it wasn't actually that heinous. Plenty of people get killed in very nasty ways, but it's not reveling in the gore. I wouldn't cheat myself of the experience if I were you.

As for The Mummy III... Thanks, but no thanks. Same with X-Files: I Want To Believe.

Really really damaged goods, that one, but still oddly at peace with himself. He knows what he is, and why he does what he does and Ledger tapped into the character expertly.

I'm on the fence with the XFiles. Pretty much I've moved on and I think it's time Fox and Scully did the same

As to the Mummy III, I just can't help it. The whole series has been one over the top, cheesy bit of fun goodness.

I'm not saying I won't see Mummy III, but I'm not sure it's worth the exorbitant cost of a cinema ticket. I can wait.

Seems wierd not seeing Bob's avatar here. Proper decent guy he was. Hope he will be back one day, I had a lot of respect for him.

Mac, I believe that every person who is capable of respecting another person, and who crossed paths with Bob, has a lot of respect for him.

Thats the impression I had of Bob too. Such a pity a few asshats were able to drive him away.

I am looking forward to that movie too. Loved the first two. Good old-fashioned escapism. And Rachel Weisz is so damn hot

Too bad she isn't in Mummy III. Evelyn is played by Maria Bello.

I didn't really care for rachel, unless we are talking about Friends.

They have a Yank playing the role of a English babe? Damn! That is my night ruined! Ok, maybe I will give The Mummy III a miss....

Now we're talkin' Joker. The villains in that old TV series were just incomparable. How could you get better than Frank Gorshin as Riddler?
