Hi, as many of you know, I am working on a WW1 mod for WF and I am trying to figure out if it is possible to change date for unit availabilities (I know I would need to change their start month/year and end month/year in the platoon files), When you go to the unit editor the "month" and "year" fields - I want to know if there is a way to modify this so that it reflects the correct years for my OOBs (ie, 1914-1918)

To restate my question: Can you mod the game to reflect years outside of the ones listed in the editor (1930-1953)?

I experimented with simply changing start and end dates int eh platoon files and it obviously isnt working,

so I have to assume there is some other location where parameters like "year" are being housed for the whole game.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

In the WW1 mod, he changed the dates in the exe's, but you must leave the 1930's-40's dates in the oob's, from platoon to Army. Can't tell you more than that, but it works!!
