The economy is fine as long as I have enough money to support my lifestyle.

Every personal tragic story I heard could be summed up with one very short sentence...they failed to save....

It usually leads to bad debt, borrowing against their house, etc, etc until one day some little personal crisis happens...an unexpected doctor bill or kids need braces....it all comes crashing down.

Anway, enough Mr. Doom. I'm outa here. Night everyone.

That is why WitP is such a good game, I've only bought a couple games since getting in 2004. Much money saved.

TGW, that's the simple recipe for becomming wealthy, but most people refuse to believe it. I take that back. Most people do believe and understand it, they just refuse to do it.

I've only had WitP since Christmas of 2006, but I've spent exactly $0 on computer games since I got it. The only other place any of my game time has gone is our fantasy baseball and football leagues, and some time with the free online game, OGame.

WitP is my Master.

Speaking of which, there's a turn in my inbox. I need to go watch the replay before everyone else gets up.

We went to Maryland and New Jersey to see some of my family and then we spent Saturday and Sunday in Lanmcaster, PA where I attended Historicon. I played Close Action for 2 days.

On Saturday I was part of the French Navy commanding a 74 SOL, Robuste. We defeated a Royal Navy force in a scenario from 1781.

On Sunday I switched sides and was commanding a British 90 SOL, Union. I had to leave early but we were winning when I had left. We had dismasted the Robuste and 3 or 4 other of their vessels were in bad shape. I had lost a mast on the Union but she was still in the thick of it.

I'll bet you had a blast! I'm already doing the planning to make it up there next year.

Did you get to meet Mark? He's an interesting character he is.

My initial reaction was AR-15, but the magazine is not quite right.

What part of Maryland? I'm originally from Baltimore.

Mark ran the game. He was also the British Fleet Admiral on Saturday.

He runs most Close Action games you can find at the cons. And yes, he does run a tight ship. Absolutely necessary in order to get it done.

Dear Thread, Denver has tied its old record 18 consecutive days at 90 degrees or above. Blech.

Yes and the weather man keeps teasing us by saying..."but it's going to cool off in 3-4 days"...and it never does.

Summers are definitely hotter since I moved here in 84.
