Well I've had no internet access all day today (server crash)
so havnt been able to do any of the stuff I usually do, cos I need the internet for reference

So sat about wondering what I could do
and here's what I decided upon doing,
a new set of faces, using the originals I just hand drew on facial hair
the pack includes around 20 altered faces I think (which I'll upload as soon as I'm done here)

Look very closely guys, see if you can spot the Mykal look alike in the pack
anyway, Here's a sample

EDIT: I think (know) this is the one and my reward could be 5 uniform requests free

Actually, a good set of faces for the game would be another good project. I was thinking of getting some of the big facepacks that have been done for OOTP(out of the park)baseball and making them into football pics.

Yep you got me Rhino,
but I really should update the pic, my dreads are a good bit longer than that.

Hey Marauders
Im pretty fond of my created SaberCats
but tooth implants is a step too far........

Never Heard of OOTP Gary
If you dont fancy doing 'em
sling the graphics my way and I'll take a look.

Yeah OOTP is a baseball sim game something most Brit's have no interest in.

OOTP uses Facegen to create faces. There is a free version you can check out. http://www.facegen.com/

I have OOTP7 and if anybody wants a few faces to try out let me know. I can zip them all up also. The game has default hair and facial hair in PNG files with transparent backgrounds that may be usable. Bobble has created an add-on for more styles. He's been on these forums. The faces would need some cutting and pasting to be used for MaxFB.

If these can be used I can make a dummy league with a generic uniform and a background that can be removed easily. The game uses multiple random backgrounds. These can be a solid color or a ballpark image. If I remove all but a white background it should force every player to use the same background. Uniforms can be made since there is a template. It probably doesn't make sense to create team specific players so any player can be used on any team.

Yeah, I already tried it. It would be better if we could get some with blank/solid background and say a blank cap.

Bobble, can you hook us up?
I have OOTP 2006, but I dont remember it generating player pics.
I downloaded the 2009 demo, but it must store them in a dat file or something.

It would be easy to make a jersey template that could be edited and layered over the existing one. The heads all seem to be in the same spot.

I remember someone had made a football jersey that could be used within ootp. The only problem was that no one could figure out how to remove the baseball caps. Also there is a seam harcoded into the jersey that is permanent and can't be removed. However, if anyone can figure it out bobble probably could. I'll see if I can find the jersey.

I use ootp to produce the images for my coaches on my site.

Ok. You can find the ootp generic football jersey template for ootp in this thread...

Here.

Once there scroll down the page a bit to see a picture of the jersey and download the template.

What I was suggesting was that, as time consuming as it might be, once the face photos have been created, we could place a jersey template on the actual image itself. Outside of ootp, not during creation.

Im only interested in faces, I would likely just place a white jersey on all of them. So I dont have to change pics when players change teams.

I've re-worked Bobble's faces into my game a while back. I will post them on FBMax .

I will post them as Bobble's redux.

Ok, it's uploaded. I have sequenced the player photo numbers to fall in behind the numbers already in the game, so if you have already added numbers to the player photo file it will overwrite them.

Yer that would certainly be easier, I could do that in about 3 seconds

Kewl, just downloaded them, excellent man
I can make a few more out of them aswell by hand drawing on some facial hair.

Im using the OOTP 2009 demo and creating several fictional leagues to get the player pics. I've changed the backgrounds to a grey color.
I even did a black and white set in case guys want that for oldtime leagues.

Now editing them will be up to the individual using them.
