I can't blame the guy for being impatient, though. MaxFB has come a long way, and even I'm getting antsy for the enxt patch.

That said, there's plenty going on this summer to take people's attention. Canadian Football has kicked off, baseball is hitting the stretch drive, and there's plenty of beautiful women wearing short skirts and high heels in this warm weather. Take a break from the PC and enjoy the summer.

The Game Is Dead.

How would you know?

Well now not only do we not hear from Winter but even Mauraders had said nothing for some time.

Does Marauders have to say something to please you?

Matrix - either kill this thing or let us know the story. If Winter has been *hit-canned then step up and say so.

Do you really want Maximum Football killed? If you don't then why ask and if you do then why are you still an active user here? Emerlee I don't want to sound like a jerk, but you really have no idea what is happening. It seems like so often when you post it has to have something that is anti Maximum Football, David, or Marauders.

Then I would ask if the testers continue to get builds. If so, then the work is progressing.

Sorry, I don't think we can comment on that or anything else that pertains to the beta version other than the fact that the game isn't dead as some of our members say.

Mykal your like the Maximum Football clown (in a good way :)) and one of the hardest working modders at the same time. Almost every day you say something funny like that. It just stinks that not all people in the UK are as funny as you.

Erik Rutins makes it a threesome.

Guess the mighty Mr.Winter does not respond to even his questions. Or maybe he
does but Erik does not have the authority
to let us know what is going on.

We've got the final update from David, should be another week or two of testing before release.

I have to apologize for not posting to the public forum in a while. I have worked very hard to help make this a great community of active Maximum Football supporters, and I have firmly believed that Maximum Football was ready to progress into a top football title on the PC. At this time, I am unsure of what information I can give the community that would be helpful other than to say that some of the issues were resolved in testing some time ago.

Beyond that, I can give you little in updates, as I have not been given a full progress report to be forwarded to the public since this topic was created. The other beta team members are in a similar situation and are bound by the NDA until release.

The best person to answer the questions asked here is David. He is the game developer, software programmer, PR person, and decision maker when it comes to Maximum Football. It's his product, and he is the only one who knows what direction the updates and expansion will be taking in the future.

No reason for you to apologize Marauders

You dont owe anyone here anything
just because certain people think they have a god given right to information from you
doesnt mean anyone else agree's with 'em.

we all have lives to live man, most of us appreciate that.

Well yeah, I guess that's why my PM box is full.

As you know, I have given you what I can.

I do see the unmarked van, but it is in front of the neighbor's house which is being rented by a college sorority. I just thought you were some Webcam outfit.

When I think of sorority girls I picture those honeys at UT back in the early 70's (1969-1973) wearing hot pants and halter tops. The no-bra look was in vogue then and I looked. It was hard to concentrate on a lecture when a girl sat down near me dressed as I mentioned above.

That's when I had lamb chop sideburns and a hair helmet that covered my ears and touched my shoulders. I was too cool for words then.

OK, the Trek nerd in me is out. Gul Madred wants Picard to state there are five lights, when there are only four (Gul Madred is torturing Picard, for anyone who didn't follow the series), not three. One of the better episodes (I count both as one episode).

Dave, take your time and get it right, and don't let the negativity get to you.

It's been years since I saw that episode. I remember being a bit disturbed by it because it was a fairly rough episode. No way you treat Picard like that.

I'm a TOS guy, but TNG had some really great stuff.

emerlee, I hate to do this, but I am going to take you on again. First off thank you for not posting question marks. You deserve a medal or maybe a toy truck. Also when Mykal posts it doesn't have extreme negativaty. You don't ever make mods or anything to help the community only hurt it with posts like this. I have a limited number of hours on the computer because I have a job, wife, and kids. That means when I have to reply to you blasting David, Marauders, MaxFB, and now Mykal it takes away from that time. I don't have a problem with you posting emerlee, but when you don't post anything other than question marks or when is the patch coming out it gets on my nerves. Please think before you post next time it will make the community much happier with you.

Yer, so I post a bit,
not that I owe you any explanation but here it is :

You See, I've a ton of friends in here and I spend a whole bunch of time modding for others
people often post requests, which require answers, plus sometimes I may ask for a favor of someone else
which is usually done because they know I would gladly do something for them.

Whats your average posts elmerlee, I'm guessing not many
Nobody is ever interested in anything you have to say and most of your questions go un-noticed or un-answered
wonder why that is ?

Well and Mykal - you are in a sense part of the community that you're supporting.

Elmerlee offers nothing and demands much.

While we're all waiting and would love to see something tomorrow instead of whining like a B we're going about our business and supporting the community by doing something to improve things.

So if you want a whine and moan

Do something - otherwise you're just causing trouble for the sake of being a pain in the butt.
