Hi - I got the game on e-bay, and have looked around but have not found a manual. The site listed here gives one for BoB, but not BTR. 1: If there's a place online that has it, I would be so happy if someone could give me the link... I have not seen any or heard of any ? 2: I have been playing as the Germans and seem to be having some success (3-1, 2-1 loss ratios) but would like a couple answers that could improve my game - Is there a way to see where the German units are based without actually knowing geographically where they are when I'm assigning them to raids? I mean, I know from the range setting how far they are, but have no idea where that is in relation to the raid. A lot of times I will have units coming from all over the place and they end up chasing the raid back to England after it dropped it's load. I think that may be more of a feel, once you get more into the game also, I think you can click on the base from this screen, and it will take you to that base, which would show you where it was at 3: Once I re-call a unit, can I send it right to a different raid somehow or does it have to land first? the others can get into the details, but you can recall to a patrol, and then resend it from the patrol, at least that is what I thought they said 4: I don't know what the deal is with these patrols - should I try to put up a wall of patrols so they catch raids when they come in? I think most try to set up a patrol zone, so they can gather the units in one place and then attack from there 5: Is there a reason I have planes 650 miles away from the action? Should I leave them there or move them up - it seems logical to keep them closer to England, at least until things get problematic later in the war. the units are pretty much where the units were, a number of units are set up to be Defence, they only used for deep raids 6: Should I ground the patrols so I can use the planes, or can I send planes on patrol to the action somehow? ?, click on intercept, you will show planes on the ground, ready for take off, and planes in the air, most of those in the air are the ones on partol, or returning from a attack, also, you can replot where the patrol is at, to move it closer to the action, if you do not want to send it right in AUghhhhh - the questions go on forever. There are about a million more, but this will do for now.... ask away, someone should be able to help or offer advice, lots of that around THanks for any help you can give me. Oh - and is there some general guideline on what kind of interception ratio I should aim for? Like don't bother sending 10 planes up against 50 because they will all get killed, or will it accomplish something anyway and screw up the bombing so it's not a bad idea or something? Some general guidelines would be great. Again, thanks for any help.... Jim
