Hello again,

I am playing CHS 155 with AB's extended map against the Japanese AI and I have a question about the 4E bombers of IJN and IJA. Specifically the Betty Bombers. I can recall I seen somewhere that it was 15 hexes but it seems to me that at least in my game they are coming out to ranges of 20 or so. Is this correct or is it getting away with something? I am trying to plot courses around their uber LBA bases so i do not get mauled and violated. Can someone enlighten me so I will stop losing ships, LOL?

Betties are only 2E bombers. I'm going from memory but I think their max range is around 17.

I think 17 for max range. But 13 is what you really have to watch out for, that is the range they can take torpedoes.

You can check ranges with the ingame database. There you'll find the standard and extended range in miles for every plane.
Just divide this number by 60 and round any fractions down. Et voila, thats your range in hexes. Also bear in mind that range may differ between the various mods that are around.

Mistmatz is correct, just some additional info... as Floyd and I are looking at it for Tracker(for inclusion sometime).
